There's still time to take in the Paper Town exhibit at the Fitchburg Art Museum, an imaginative and innovative display up through June 4 featuring creative creations by several talented New England artists that pays tribute to Fitchburg's history of paper manufacturing. Three young museum visitors take in 'Hanging Out'by artists Mariel Bass, Erik Demaine, and Martin Demaine. The description of the impressive piece states that each of the 12 sheets of folded paper is printed with hundreds to thousands of hand-drawn characters, which in total represent exactly the 41,732 people who call Fitchburg home according to the 2021 census.
