Fitchburg State field hockey senior Jenna Morse and sophomore Autumn Tibbetts were named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, on Monday. Morse registered her first weekly honor of the 2023 season after totaling 30 saves with a 3.00 goals against average and an .833 save percentage in a 1-1 week for the Green and Gold. The Leominster resident made 26 saves in a setback to Worcester State on Tuesday evening before adding four stops in a 2-1 triumph against Salem State on Friday.
