FITCHBURG — The city has been awarded a $10,000 grant by the North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation to support the development of pop-up shops for local artisans, crafters and entrepreneurs to sell products in the community. In a press release, NCMDC said the pop-up shops are expected to start in December. To prepare, InTown Fitchburg has been working with the city to identify feasible locations including vacant storefronts downtown.
