LEOMINSTER — After stopping a gray Nissan Altima Wednesday morning on Commercial Road in Leominster for having no front license plate, Massachusetts State Trooper Ryan Tobin recovered a loaded handgun with a laser sight, as well as a mask and other articles of clothing, from the driver. The suspect — Eddie Colon, 18, of Fitchburg, who was not licensed to carry a firearm or have ammunition — was charged with unlawful possession of both. He was also determined to have attached a stolen license plate from another vehicle to the rear of the Altima.
