A Fitchburg woman was sentenced Wednesday for stealing more than $90,000 in cash deposits while she was employed at a Massachusetts post office. Roberta Feliz, 33, of Fitchburg, was sentenced to three years of probation, with the first six months to be served in home confinement, in U.S. District Court Wednesday after pleading guilty to one count of theft of mail by an employee of the U.S. Postal Service in April 2022. Between February and July 2020, Feliz, who worked as lead sales and services associate with the Gardner post office, stole more than $90,000 in cash deposits that were mailed from a Tractor Supply Company store to its bank, officials said.
