Have you brushed elbows with someone famous? If you live in the Greater Tri-Town area, chances are that you have indeed. Fitchburg and Leominster have seen plenty of celebrities — most recently Ben Affleck and George Clooney who filmed scenes from The Tender Bar in Fitchburg's Ward 6 a few years ago. But most famous folks who visit here have come from the political sphere. Fitchburg was a frequent stop for candidates on the campaign trail, and on Sept. 2, 1902, President Theodore Roosevelt took the train to New England.
